Due to construction, visitors traveling south on I-79 (from Erie/I-90) will need to use Exit 154 (Saegertown) and follow the detour. Exit 147A (Meadville) is closed to southbound travelers. Visitors traveling north on I-79 (from Pittsburgh/I-80) are not affected and can use the Meadville exit. Learn more about the construction here.

President Cook, the faculty, and staff of Allegheny College cordially invite you to attend a weekend steeped in tradition-Commencement 2008 in the 193rd year of the College. In addition to the Baccalaureate ceremony on Saturday and the Commencement ceremony on Sunday, many events will be planned for graduates and their families.
The Commencement ceremony will be held Sunday, May 11, 2008 on Bentley Lawn or in the Wise Center Sports Forum, depending on weather conditions. Tickets are required for admission to the ceremony only if it is held in the Wise Center. Commencement tickets will be given directly to your graduating son or daughter. Closed circuit television viewing in the Shafer Auditorium is available to guests with children and those not holding tickets. Even if the ceremony is held on Bentley Lawn, a closed circuit broadcast will be available in Shafer Auditorium for those who prefer to sit inside.
Commencement information was mailed to parents on April 1, 2008. If a parent has not received an information packet by April 10, 2008, please call the Commencement Office at 814-332-3101.
